Re:Monster episode 8 begins with Gobrou waking up to find Gobfu staring at him. Gobfu has recently evolved into a ghoul after consuming numerous zombies from Gobrou’s battles. Gobrou then encounters Gobuji and learns that Gobuji has evolved into a Half Saint Lord, acquiring cleric-like healing abilities.
Gobrou subsequently meets with the other goblins, who have evolved into higher species due to their involvement in the human-elf war. Despite most issues being resolved, Gobrou still needs to address the large number of prisoners in the goblin cave. Instead of adhering to the usual goblin routine, Gobrou simply instructs the prisoners to leave.
Some prisoners voice their contempt towards Gobrou and challenge him to a duel. Gobrou defeats each challenger and then assigns them to Gobkichi for training. Later, Gobrou begins developing a hot spring resort to make use of the hot springs discovered in the goblin caves.
After initiating several projects, Gobrou utilizes his slime powers and parts from his undead skeletons to construct a centipede-like familiar.
