Episode 8 of “Mission: Yozakura Family,” titled “Kuroyuri Party,” opens with a scene featuring an unidentified man dancing on stage before a massive crowd. In an enclosed room, a woman is analyzing the scene alongside two other individuals. It is revealed that this mysterious woman had assigned one of them a task, which they failed to complete. However, she remains undeterred, having a backup plan involving Taiyo Asano, who appears on the monitoring board.
The episode then shifts to a park, where Taiyo Asano is with Mutsumi Yozakura. They encounter Sui, and Mutsumi informs Asano that they are heading to the Hinagiku headquarters.
At the Hinagiku’s HQ, Taiyo confronts the organization’s leader, Rin Fudo, who happens to be Kyoichiro Yozakura’s former batchmate. She’s also the lady who appeared in the first scene of the episode.
Apparently, she has invited Mutsumi for their occasional tea party. At that moment, Kyoichiro barges in. He cannot stand the sight of Rin, whom he calls a gorilla, spending time with his precious sister.
A fight begins but eventually Mutsumi and Taiyo stop them. Rin is impressed by Taiyo’s endurance, so she assigns him an uncover mission to expose a corrupted politician, Yoshimasa Kuroyuri or the Dancing Politican.
The leader of Hinagiku reveals that Kuroyuri might be planning to detonate a bomb before the next general election. Given that Kuroyuri’s political team and his ace spies are aware of Hinagiku’s operations, the most effective way to apprehend him is to use a third party—Taiyo Asano.
For this mission, Taiyo has to disguise himself as a girl. Upon accepting the mission, Taiyo discovers that Kuroyuri’s dance moves are actually Morse codes meant for his spies. By decoding the message, Taiyo identifies the bomb’s location, setting the stage for the next thrilling development in the series.
Taiyo uses his quick thinking to successfully relocate the bomb, saving several esteemed guests in the process. The Hinagiku organization then takes control of the situation, and Sui instructs Taiyo to escort Kuroyuri to their headquarters.
Inside the van, Kuroyuri praises Taiyo for his efforts as a rookie Yozakura, particularly after the tragic death of his family. However, he expresses regret that Taiyo still believes the incident was an accident. The episode concludes with a chilling revelation from Kuroyuri, suggesting that the death of Taiyo’s parents was not an accident, but the result of deliberate actions by someone.
